Thirty minutes ago there was no snow. Now look at it. And now it's coming down so hard, it's a white out. Snowpocalyse 2011, here we come. Reporting LIVE from Virginia.

    Holeee, vic!

It looks like Ottawa! We don't even have that much snow in PEI.

Stay warm and stay off the roads! Even if you know how to drive in it chances are there are many more outthere who haven't a clue how to drive in that safely.

I have an interest in you not getting killed before I get MY book.

When Ilved in North Dakota, a genuine White Out is when you can't see the hood ornament of your own car from the driver's seat. Or when your hand disappears from view when you stick it out the window. Being able to see several hundred feet is far from a White Out.

Shut up. I grew up near Buffalo. I know what a white out is. And if you read above, I said that after I took the picture it was a white out.

6-8 inches on the ground since 4:00 pm. Cars frozen, and as I took the picture of the trees, one of the branches broke and fell off.

Oh it TOTALLY is. It's nature's temporary solution to human's inability to construct buildings, cars, etc. that match in color with each other and with nature.

I'm so sick of this crap. We've had more days of snow this month than days of sun, it's like I moved to Siberia or Alaska.

Well DUH. You live in CONNETICUT and it's JANUARY. What do you expect, to throw crayons out onto the sidewalk and watch them melt?

I'm stuck in a hotel near baltimore, this stuff sucks. 45 minutes just to grab food to go at the hotel eatery because no one can go out to grab food and no one is delivering

That's a white out? No, it isn't. That's nothing compared to the last four snow storms that have hit the east coast over the past two months.

Where have you been all winter?
