It's that time of the year! Oscar season! I tried to post the nominations here, but it's just too long. So here's the site:

    http://www.oscars.org/awards/academyawards/83/nominees.html

The only comments i have for this years Oscar is......."How come Christopher Nolan is not nominated as Best Director for Inception"?! And i was hoping Barbara Hershey would get a nomination for Black Swan and she didn't. Either way Melissa Leo will win it. So far that's the only problem i have for the nominees. Please make your prediction belowicon_exclaim.gif

That is also my prediction. I know a lot of people are saying The Social Network, but I think there is some backlash against it not being Oscar-worthy and that it should not have won the Golden Globe. I think this will clear the way for The King's Speech to win.

To be honest, i didn't expect The Social Network to win big at the Golden Globe and i don't think it deserved to win. But i'm sure that will change at the Oscars, I'm betting my money on The King's Speech, all the way.

Black Swan will pick up a statue, I think, but I haven't a sense of what category I might be in

I do believe Ms. Portman will be giving an acceptance speech. Annette Bening is the only one I could see upsetting that.

Black Swan, 127 hours and Harry Potter are what I'm rooting for.
