This really is a feel good story, maybe one that doesn't happen all to often..This man is quite brave, I'll give him that!

What a remarkable story. I am not sure I would have had the presence of mind to do anything but fight in that situation, which might have led to a very different outcome. Sometimes it is easy to forget that desperate circumstances can lead to desperate measures. That is not to excuse such conduct, but it may go some way to explaining it.

Such an interesting encounter. I do wonder what will happen to that teen. Will he even make it to adulthood? Sad.

Wow, I felt kind of semi-emotional reading that, damn you! icon_cool.gif

I can empathise with the kid, there is always a person and a stroy behind the label 'criminal' or 'deviant'.....

The samaritan was gully icon_biggrin.gif.....ALTHOUGH....Maybe all of this was merely an elaborate ruse to get his wallet back, and it worked! ;]

    Kudos though icon_smile.gif

This story was reported here a while back, and I heard the recording then, as well. It's great to see it coming up again - a very inspiring tale and one that I hope will continue to impact folks.
    Thanks SOYFAN for the post.

Thanks for posting, Soyfan. I'm sure I'd be scared shitless in this sort of situation. It's nice to know someone took a chance to reach out to someone, even after being threatened by them with a knife.
