Well I got to a max of 248 pounds and starting to lose weight (now 223) but my chest is pointer then I want (I was starting to get man boobs but not quite). It is slowly getting more muscular working out but still have excess fat on my chest and I don't want my muscles to build out without getting defined.

Guess I want to know if their are specific exercises I can do to target each chest muscle and what others did in the same situation.

    Your help is appreciated.

Try the Perfect Pushup device, it will build up your chest while defining you at the same time.

You're worrying about the colour of your drapes before you've even built the house. Trust me, your concern is not going to be a problem. It's like guys who don't want to lift weight because they worry about getting "too big". I have yet to see it happen.

This is what everyone will tell you on Bodybuilding.com if you ask: Not everyone's chest is the same shape. Some people will have a bulkier chest, and some will have a wider, flat chest.

That being said. Is 223 a little heavy for your frame? Sometimes fat build up around the pecs will make them appear more man boob-ish than they really are. Just make sure that you are doing both incline and flat movements if you are REALLY worried.

I am no expert myself, but I have done enough looking around to know that this is the advice most people give with a question like yours.

Lose the weight first, then build the muscle!

The 130 pound ferry said, "I don't wanna' be big."

You don't have to worry going the way you're going.

FYI: muscular chests ARE NOT flat. A flat chest is NOT muscular.

    You're SO smart. Got me.

    I sit corrected.

    I should have spoken "fairy."

Oh my! That makes you even luckier than before! I just hope you make it back home in time before your carriage turns back into a pumpkin.

RE: perfect pushups.. vary the distance between the handles a lot and you'll get definition quicker.. .narrower than your shoulders builds upper chest.. wider and it builds the outsides.
