    Intro:
It doesn’t matter if you love him, or capital H-I-M
    Just put your paws up
’cause you were Born This Way, Baby

    Verse:
My mama told me when i was young
    We are all born superstars
She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on
in the glass of her boudoir

There’s nothing wrong with loving who you are
she said, cause he made you perfect, babe
So hold your head up girl and you’ll go far
listen to me when I say

    Chorus:
    I’m beautiful in my way
    ’cause god makes no mistakes
I’m on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    Don’t hide yourself in regret
Just love yourself and you’re set
I’m on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    Post-Chorus:
ooo there ain’t no other way
baby I was born this way
baby I was born this way
ooo there ain’t no other way
    baby I was born
I’m on the right track baby
    I was born this way

    Don’t be a drag - just be a queen
    Don’t be a drag - just be a queen
    Don’t be a drag - just be a queen
    Don’t be!

    Verse:
    Give yourself prudence
    and love your friends
    Subway kid, rejoice your truth

In the religion of the insecure
I must be myself, respect my youth

A different lover is not a sin
Believe capital H-I-M (hey hey hey)
I love my life I love this record and
Mi Amore Vole Fe Yah (love needs faith)

    Repeat chorus + Post-chorus

    Bridge:
Don’t be a drag, just be a queen
    Whether you’re broke or evergreen
You’re black, white, beige, chola descent
    You’re lebanese, you’re orient
    Whether life’s disabilities
Left you outcast, bullied, or teased
    Rejoice and love yourself today
‘Cause baby you were born this way

No matter gay, straight, or bi,
    Lesbian, transgendered life
I’m on the right track baby
    I was born to survive
No matter black, white or beige
    Chola or orient made
I’m on the right track baby
I was born to be brave

    Repeat Chorus

    Outro/Refrain:
I was born this way hey!
I was born this way hey!
I’m on the right track baby
I was born this way hey!

I was born this way hey!
I was born this way hey!
I’m on the right track baby
I was born this way hey!

kinda reminds me of a modern day mix of Michael Jackson "We are the world" meets John Lennon "Imagine" meets Christina Aguilera "Beautiful"

    Not a bad mix.

if anyone has had exposure to the song stylings of sarah vaughn, billie holiday, ella fitzgerald, jo stafford, linda ronstadt...and others better than the current crop of MTV "pretenders"...this thread would be useless. icon_idea.gif

im a diehard Lady Gaga fan, so diehard i would kill and die for her art. but im not going to glorify these lyrics just yet because as of content and substance, it is clear it has both. but they aren't anything out of the normal, diction-wise. i want to hear how they sound with the melody. cause thats what adds meaning to lyrics. so i'll make my call when she sings this at the Grammys. but yeah im damn sure its going to AMAZING!!!!! and yes im saying it cause im a diehard Gaga fan, but come on ELTON JOHN loved this and he said contemporary pop isn't inspiring so this has got to be some other world shit. lol LADY GAGA MOTHER MONSTER QUEEN OF POP!!! #MONSTERNATION

Thanks, I'll be checking out these singers icon_smile.gif Currently going through an exploration of music I never never never thought I would listen to.

I think we should add Lennon and McCartney to this list, too.
