Squash is a great sport. Really challenging. It's really hard to find places to play (there are a lot of free tennis and basketball courts, for example), and not that many people are interested in it. I agree that it is addictive, and take every opportunity to get new people to play.

Whichever squash we're talking about... I do agree that there are not nearly enough places to play squash/racquetball. I've only played a few times, it is insanely fun and an amazing workout. The only places in Chicago that have courts, besides one YMCA that is too far from me, are snooty, really expensive athletic clubs. Sucks...

ALL the Gold's Gyms in Columbia have them (rball), and the cheesy hotel I had to stay in at my last assignment for work had a squash court! Kind of shocking. I admit it's a lot of square footage per court that could be used for other things, but still you're right -- rball and squash are really a lot of fun to play even as a novice player.

Funny .. it just looks like squash.

And funny I've never heard of the sport. I've heard of cornhole but that's just a game.

Raquetball is my sport of choice, much quicker and more fun than squash.

Yeah, I've heard people say that before. The best squash player at my club said that. I don't think he ever even plays racquetball anymore. He also used to be a marathon runner, and doesn't do that anymore either.

Don't ask me the source, I don't recall, but one of the players at my club posted an article that rated squash as the number one fitness sport in the world. Even many pro tennis players play squash for fitness. The ball may be faster in racquetball, but the rallies are much longer in squash. And you run your ass off. Mine has all but disappeared. (just a joke guys)

    AND YES IT IS ADDICTIVE!
