Bluebuffalo is OK, but if diarrhea starts switch to Wellness brand. Human grade food. Yep, in the event of world war three you too can chow down with the dog!

How old is the little love-bug?

yeah, its weird, cuz i noticed when the dog shits, its like a weird consistency, like not diarrhea but it's um..... a little watery i guess?

He's got all his shots and everything and just took him to the vet 2 days ago and he's healthy, but maybe its the food causing his shit to be of a lose consistency?

awwww, thats too cute. How did u like ur dog?

it's funny how I stumbled upon this breed of dog.
I took an assesment test online that after answering all the questions would recommend a breed of dog to me and it came out to be a wheaten terrier.

I had never heard of them before, but I can't wait to get the know the breed better.

Could very well be. Now, if you switch foods expect a little of the loose stuff. Then everything should be tickety-boo, which is better than, er, ickety-poo.

He was great, very affectionate. I've had all kinds of dogs in my lifetime, because I believe firmly in taking in rescue dogs or humane society dogs. My method is really simple: I go down there and look into the kennels, waiting for one to give me that cocked head doggy thing that they do, and then I take him (or her) home.

Actually, my current pup (Martyn D. Dogg) is half-black Lab, half-Dalmatian. He was one of a litter of eight identical males, all ten weeks old. They were all fast asleep in a pile, sort of like doggy pick-up sticks, so I decided to wait until one of them woke up and took notice of me.

One did. I took him home. He is a truly wonderful animal (but they all have been, each in his own way).

By the way, I just noticed that you live in town. I'm talking about the Humane Society down on Griffin Rd just off I-95.

Oh wow., thats so nice of u to do that. Actually, just the other night my one friend who came over my house to check out the new puppy seemed a little pissed off that I didn't get a dog from the humane society. He was all "dude, do u know how many dogs need a home, u should have got one from there!"

The idea did cross my head, however with the humane society u dont really know what you're getting. Of course I think its awesome that people do get dogs from the humane society, but as a first time dog owner, I was a bit apprehensive on getting a rescue dog. Perhaps if I get another one, i'll go that route. But im so glad there are ppl like u out there do to that!!

for real, thats awesome. One day, i'll get one. Photobucket

I took the test and it actually got it right for the type of dog I would like, which we are going to get in about a month ( that's when he'll be old enough to live with us ) icon_cool.gif
