I think http://www.masterbeat.com is one of the best resources to use to populate your dance playlist. They have tons of remixes and originals as well. However there are soo many different remixes that I cannot keep up with everything that is out there. Anyone else who use masterbeat and can recommend some good mixes?

    I really like the following:

Enrique Iglesias - Tonight (I'm Fuckin You) (Richard Vission Remix)
Kylie Minogue - Get Outta My Way (7th Heaven Club Remix)
Rihanna - Hard (Jody Den Broader Club Remix)

Ok, you guys can start with the puns now.

I've known Brett Henrichsen for years and I've always been impressed how he managed to turn his little idea of Masterbeat into an extremely successful business venture that not only launched his international DJ career but has also been extremely influential in the whole gay club scene in Los Angeles and other major cities. Brett is extremely bright and he deserves the success.

Masterbeat tends to be way too commercial and pop oriented these days. It once was the go to destination for circuit tunes. I spin house, so I tend to gravitate to Beatport and Traxsource for all my music I play when I DJ.

i love to be able to sing along while i am dancing so it totally works out for me. i do dont circuits enough to know the circuit circuit music so i like it when pop songs are thrown in the mix. seth cooper's mix are always fun. do you do uploads like him? would be cool to take a listen.

Seth is great. Fellow Austin DJ and a good guy. I don't get to record as much as I like. The club I am a resident at doesn't have the equipment. I do try and post to my soundcloud account

i love vocals, but tend to do more clubby music.

I enjoy Masterbeat on occasion and I'm impressed by Brett Henrichsen.

I don't buy much from Masterbeat because it is consumable music. It's the kind of music that you'll listen to a dozen times in a month, but will stop listening to completely by next year.

Beatport.com is way better than Masterbeat. In fact, Masterbeat stole some of the web people from Beatport to create their playlist. Having said that, Masterbeat is probably the best gay dance website to DL shit from...I mean...you know....if you're 42 and you still think it's 1998.

Regarding the post above, HAH I KNEW IT. The site wouldn't last long. Seriously go to Beatport.com and buy real dance music. There's still plenty of "gay" music there, but it's not a gay site.

Wow! I know years ago Brett got into some trouble with doing remixes and compilations without the appropriate copyrights, but I know that was all worked out. in the past. I hope it's not something similar this time.
