starboard5 saidOK, I guess I' a curmudgeon. This kind of thing bothers me. Children aren't toys for you to amuse yourself and your friends with.
The baby was smiling- he was having fun.
I did the same thing with my now two year old brother when he was that age. I would throw him in the air and catch him, playfully drop him (not too hard) on a big bunch of pillows, hold him up and make him break-dance to music, swing him in the garden to kick the football in the grass...I knew he loved it as he would have a big gummy smile (in the rare occassion that hewasn't in the mood, he'd sure let me know by letting himself be heard) and when he was old enough to laugh, he did! We all did, the entire family.
To this day I still play with him like that, and he loves it. He always asks for me to take him out and play.
I wish I caught some of the stuff on camera. Hilarious!
