I won't wait in long lines.
I can be having just one to four items in the express or
regular line, but if the line is long as hell, I leave.
My roommate says with all the gadgets you have
from my portable game system, Ipod, and my smart phone
that I "should" or could wait in line.
    But I don't.
He also says "patience is a virtue".
Well, I'm not a virtuous one.
    I won't wait.

If there's somewhere I have to go and know I'll be waiting in line then I bring things to do. I'll bring a book, have my iPod, or catch up with messages/phone calls.

What bothers me is when I have to wait for someone who is habitually late. The message I get is that their time is more important than mine.

I'm not impatient, I just wish people would speed the fuck up.

Try carrying a stopwatch and a notepad. Write down the amount of time you spend waiting in lines for a week.

Then try and explain why it is that you are so damned important that you can't spare that amount of time to let other people be people, even if they are not in a hurry.

I'm not impatient...as long as there is a logical order to things. I mean, if I am waiting for 20 minutes in a line, as long as it resembles a line, I don't get frazzled.

However if there is no order to it, I get stressed out, and that's when I begin to lose my temper.

I've stopped going to the 7-Eleven to pick up things for that reason: no one seems to understand the concept of forming if not an efficient line, then at least a line!

I am patient within reason... but there is a limit. Intentional slothfulness is a problem.

    with students i'm infinitely patient.
    but they drain it all.

neighbors know when i'm working outside , all they hear is swearing which really isn't very nice, but i'm possessed.

I used to be impatient but then I realized, everyone in line is probably just as eager as I am to be somewhere else and doing something else, and so I calm the fuck down, and put my headphones on.

I hate waiting...and in turn therefore hate to make others wait.

I can tolerate lines but what really annoys me is when someone is late to something and I'm there waiting icon_exclaim.gif
