Well I was little I always wanted to go to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida so I went with my parents and rode on every ride in all four theme parks at Walt Disney World and loved it. I love getting my picture taken with Disney and enjoying all the fine dining they had their.

Last night. Like nine deer were in my yard, I stepped out side they started to run off so I jokingly started singing at them, Adele's new song Rolling in the Deep. Everyone of the deer turned and started back toward me and listened for a good minute and a half before I got bored and went inside.

Dec. 18. 2009- I got a phone call telling me I got into Wharton Business School- it was at 9 am Pacific time, and I still remember I couldn't sleep the night before. That day was the most amazing day ever. I immediately got into my car, drove from LA to San Diego, and spent the rest of the day celebratin with family.

I would have to say it was when I was 16 and got my 1986 Iroc Z Camero with only 30,000 original miles on it. It looked brand new inside and out. Damn back then I didn't care about girls or guys I had my car. Now of coarse it's a little different.

Impossible to rate the many great days, but the more memorable have to do with people and possessions:

    - my first wedding, a spectacular affair with a full orchestra, married by a Papal representative, perfect June weather, just incredible and out of a fairy tale.
    - my 17th birthday, getting my driver's permit that morning (earliest age for it in my home state), my father taking me to a car dealer that afternoon and buying me a brand new car, cash, all mine (well, legally registered to him because of my age), 0 miles on it, and my driving it home myself with him.
    - my first trip to Disney World Orlando with my future first wife, on a motorcycle of all things.
    - my first motorcycle, right after my first car, and all the other days I bought my subsequent bikes over the years, and first rode them.
    - first time on a gay club dance floor (actually a night, that ended a great day), with a hunky guy to die for I had just moved in with, nearly fainting from the rush.
    - my first trip riding down the Florida Keys to Key West in 1973, on a motorcycle in winter when the rest of the country was freezing, and thinking I had died and gone to Paradise.
    - my promotion ceremony to Army Colonel
    - meeting my first (late) partner
    - meeting my second (current) partner

OK, enough, this list could continue for pages. I could never choose from among the great days I've had. Each one different, each one wonderful, but more importantly, that I can recall them and enjoy the memories. icon_biggrin.gif

I would have to say it came in Feb of 09'. After 7hrs of hiking (from 12am-7am) and 4days prior of non-stop walking, made it to the peak of Kilimanjaro. Was a horrible climb as we went through a bad storm, but making it to the top, seeing the sunrise and the curvature of the earth with some of the best people I have ever met....best day ever (well, so far!)icon_biggrin.gif

The best day of my life was the day I joined Real Jock.

-but not the first time- or the second- but the eighth- because I knew- I just knew this time things would be different.

December 12, 1998. A night out by myself after having ended a 3 1/2 year relationship (we were however still sharing a loft - only in NY). VERY cute blonde guy is staring at me from across the pool table. He finally approaches and asks if he can buy me a drink. I tell him he can buy me anything he wants. After talking for awhile he reveals that he is out with some friends for one last night before he moves to L.A. on December 28. So I said,"Well, that gives me 16 days to change your mind." I did. He cancelled his flight and apartment. We have been together ever since. icon_biggrin.gif

"And they lived happily ever after."

No, not mockery, absolute admiration. A story I want to remember & cherish, and share with others. I love happy endings, and the improbable outcome.

Thank you for sharing that. I think you inspired others here besides myself. icon_biggrin.gif

There are so many I just can not separate one from the other. Little do do with material things, albeit I live in a beautiful home, with nice things all around me, they are just things.

Standing on top of Mauna Kea the worlds tallest volcano experiencing the most beautiful sunset I have even seen, and the stars, oh man the stars.

The March night in 1999 when a tall blond Russian man at last come into my life, who I knew would come way back in 1989. At last my soulmate had come and we got to meet, and it was love at first sight; truly beautiful.
