    Don't!

The good reasons to fast: religion/spiritual purpose or to cleanse your body of toxins.

What you're asking for is an anorexia plan. It won't work.
You'll deprive your body of important nutrients during your starvation phase. Your body will break down muscle. Your metabolism will change and your body will store more energy as fat.
Even if you do lose the weight (and 20 lbs is a lot for what you want to do), you will end up with less muscle mass and more fat. Even if you don't regain the weight, which is unlikely, you will actually be unhealthier and have a higher body fat % after your starvation than before.

There are healthy ways to lose 20 lbs.

He hit the nail on the head...hard!!

Please do not shoot yourself in the foot with a starvation fast...it is not effective and it is very risky. Take a look at your diet, lifestyle, exercise and sleeping habits...then put a plan of action together. There are allot of resources on this site (not to mention livestrong, eatingwell, menshealth, etc).

    WORST IDEA IN THE WORLD.

That is all. If you lose weight this way, you gain it back with interest.

I think anyone posting this kind of question is just trolling.

I mean it;s nothing you couldn't find out from Google (find out how long it takes a hunger striker to die and subtract one day)
