    sooo, I am pretty fit, not much extra weight or anything. I have a low body fat percentage, but what body fat I have has given me a ghetto booty for realz. its not such a bad thing i guess, idk if it is or not, but i want to slim it down some and make it more muscle and im seriously not sure what workouts to do for it.

    There was an entire workout on here dedicated to do just what you want. You could probably find it by searching glutes or butt workout on this site. It helped me, I have the same weight gain issue lol. Squats, deadlifts, leg press, and kick backs are all good exercises for the lower body. The workout I found here gives more specific exercises to target toning and tightening the gluteal muscles.

    All I do is run -- a LOT -- and climb a lot of stairs. The results are in my profile. Far from perfect, but my backside is not without its admirers.

    sumo squats, lounges with weights, one leg squats, regular squats and a lot of up hill running (: thats my leg workout day which i did yesterday. i love the day after soreness. my ass feels firm and every other part of my legs

    Wouldn't a butt workout make your glutes bigger/stronger which will in turn make your butt bigger? I heard that the only thing you could do to give yourself a smaller butt is to lower your body fat pct even more.

    Right, but he wants more muscle there as well as reduced fat, so he'll have to do glute workouts eventually to reach that goal.

    Squats go without saying, they should be in your workout no matter what. But if you are losing fat in your ass, so that it doesnt drop and flatten, you need to hit the top of your glutes to keep everything perky and pulled up and for that I would suggest bent-knee good mornings.
