  Has anyone else seen this show? This is by far one of the funniest shows ever simply for the fact people do some stupid and crazy stuff when they realize that their stuff is about to get repossessed. The lies, the tears, the yelling and then the fighting.
  
  On the subject. Has anyone here ever had something repossessed or know of someone that has. How did it go?

  All I know is I was talking with somebody who does this work and he said he has never seen anything like this in his entire carrier.

  My ex and I used to watch it together all the time.
  
  I was the rat for my ex before my most recent ex. He stole my identity and "bought" a BMW X5. The finance company finally got in touch with me wanting to know where the vehicle was, so I told them In fact, I think I went over and opened the garage door for them......

  My daughter turns it on when she comes over, unreal. There are some class acts in that show and I'm talking on BOTH sides of the repo! LOL

  I've only seen promos for it, which didn't look too appealing to me. I've certainly never had anything repossessed myself (I don't use credit), but if these agents have a legal order with them, then arguing with them is a waste of time. Your issue is with the holder of the lien, note or other financial obligation against you, and with any court or administrative entity that issued the order.
  
  It's like when the police come to serve a warrant, of search or arrest: these are not the guys you argue with, that stage is past. They have no options at that moment, nor do you, a legal decision having already been made elsewhere. Now you simply comply & cooperate, and seek your remedies in a different arena.
  
  The only thing I would do is request to see the repossession order, to affirm that these guys aren't scam artists & thieves. One could certainly draw that conclusion from the scruffy, disreputable looks of them.

  To those who have said it's fake what about the show makes it so fake? It's about as real COPS or do you guys think that is fake too? To throw this show in comparison with something like WWF is laughable because that is scripted whereas this show (Operation Repo) isn't. I would say if anything it's a market for tv and I could definitely see some folks flipping out in real life if a complete stranger came up and said "We're here to take your car or whatever because you haven't paid the bills for it in few months."
  
  It's pretty real. I've seen people flip out when they get parking tickets or when they have their vehicles towed for parking illegally. I've seen people get hysterical because someone got their food order wrong at a drive-thru/restaurant or when people are at the bars and they don't get the right drink or bump inot when dancing. People flip out even on the little stuff like in real life and this show just happens to catch it on tv because it's a good market to sit down and watch how people act when reality hits them. The purpose of the shows isn't even about repossessing the item in question. It's about watching the reactions of people. To think people don't act this way would be fake.
  
  On the subject of fake shows has anyone seen Smoking Gun's Dumbest whatever? I suppose that show ranks up there with fake as well because it shows how dumb people act or can be which seems to be a reality. People can't possibly be that dumb or act that way. It's unheard of and therefore it must be fake.

  People that spend a lot of time watching tv tend to think that everything on it is fake. Ive never seen this show, so I cant comment one way or another on its fakeness, but Ive ridden along with a repo agent and know it gets pretty wild. If people on this show are half as nuts as the people we had to deal with, I would vote that it's real.
  
  In just one weekend, we were shot at, had rotts try to attack us, almost got run over, got rammed by a lifted Ram.....and this was in decent neighborhoods, I wonder what would happen in the hood....

  This was on last night and it's one of the funnier episodes. The guy was in the wrong either way and to make matters worse he disengaged the parking break and you can clearly see he did it then tries to play the victim. Guess what buddy? No one cares who you are. LOL.

  This particular video was just wrong on sorts of levels. Watch at 4:52. Again people do and will say some crazy stuff it seems to not have to suffer the consequences they put themselves in but it's all fake.
