So randomly trolling through this forum and the "What song are you listening to, right now?" thread the past few days, I've only seen a few guys post songs other than pop/dance/electronic. While I listen to my fair share of that type of music, a majority of my playlist consist of punk/alternative. Just curious if there is anyone else with similar taste in music as I, since I've yet to actually meet another gay guy who listens to anything I do icon_surprised.gif

When I say alternative/punk I'm including screamo/hardocre/pop punk etc...playlist right now for me includes: Bad Religion, Amber Pacific, Rise Against, Tokyo Rose, A Change of Pace, Senses Fail, Silverstein, Lagwagon, NOFX, MxPx, Strung Out,The Used, We the Kings, A Static Lullaby, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Pennywise, Matchbook Romance, Forever the Sickest Kids, and etc...

    Couple favorites at the moment:

Alternative music is at a tie for my favorite type! I love like lost prophets dredge story of the year and lotss more.

The thing that really amazes me is the voices those guys have you wouldn't think they sing too well since there's lots of focus on instruments but wow a majority have some of the most beautiful voices I ever heard they sound so sexy like a perfect male voice they blow me away very often

My playlist on my page has a few of my favorites...

I've always been a Pop Punk lover. From obscure bands to more mainstream. Kind of sad I can't find some of them online anymore. Myspace used to be so good for it.

I got to see Bad Religion last October for their 30th anniversary tour, opened by the Bouncing Souls. They made lots of Geritol jokes and proceeded to put on one of the most kick-arse concerts I've ever seen! I'm still stoked about it!

I think Greg Graffin is/was teaching at UCLA. Or he was doing guest lectures. icon_cool.gif

I don't listen to a ton of punk but love certain songs and bands. Gotta love The Ramones, Bad Religion, Rancid, does Social Distortion count? Love them. I mean I listen to pop too but sometimes you gotta rock out (preferably with your cock out icon_cool.gif).
