Running Log - February 7th

    I ran 4 miles in 27 minutes on the indoor track which is 6:45 pace. It didn't feel fast anymore which means my body is becoming used to that being a normal pace.

    I cooled down with a mile followed by some situps and pushups.

    I still wish this heel would heal.

    I've been sticking to my goal of running 6 days per week since I started at the beginning of January. I did a timed mile today to measure my progress. Here's the comparison:

    January 5th: 1 mile in 10:23, and I had to walk for part of it
    Today: 1 mile in 7:40.

    It felt like I was really pushing to get that time, but I'm happy with the progress. I know that I can't keep that pace over the course of several miles, though.
