Actually funny story, I was walking around with my co-worker today and was offered to buy a candygram from a student group.
The guy said, 'I bet you have a few girls you'd like to give this to ;)'
I said, 'Can I give it to their brothers?' bwahahahah

Made dinner reservations earlier tonight at a gay-owned restaurant that's kinda nice. Just the 2 of us for an intimate supper together on the 14th. I've made it prix fixe, and I'll be going over there, probably this Thursday, to select the champagne they'll have chilled & waiting for us, and make sure I like the table.

I haven't decided whether to leave the Valentine's card and candy with them, to be presented at the table, or to do that at home beforehand. It's a gay place, so doing it there wouldn't be a problem for them. So I'm kinda leaning to having it done at the table, because a lot of straight places will decline such a request, and I'd like to take advantage of where we'll be, a friendly gay restaurant.

Last year, I told my friend Rich that because we are both single and ugly I will buy him flowers and we'll go have dinner. Which I and we did and we both enjoyed it.

This year... I'm going to wait to see if he returns the gesture. I have doubt.

Other than that, I'm going to pretend to ignore it, keep my chin held up, go to the gym, go to a bar maybe, then go home alone and probably watch TV with my stupid model/actor roommate who's also single, which makes me feel a slight bit better.

    But not really.

I think the weeks leading up to Valentines are worst for potentially finding anyone romantically because of the added pressure of the day. Same as just before Christmas.

I plan to get out of bed at around 9:00 AM, stumble to the bathroom, do a #1, brush my teeth, wash my face, have breakfast, catch up on the news on line, then fritter away the rest of the day, as I usually do. Can't help it. I'm a hopeless romantic.

Going to The Elgin Theatre in Toronto to see "Barrymore" with my BF.
I've heard it is quite good from friends. Have never seen Christopher PLumber in anything. Has anyone else seen this play?

Guess I should really get on planning on that one, man. $$$ =-/

Maybe a moonlit picnic, that would be sweet AND cost effective.
