The gloves I own right now do not seem to be working since I have still developed calluses on the balls of my hands.

I see a lot of good reviews for these Harbinger ones.

Does anyone have any other ideas or ones they prefer?

    Thanks in advance.

I like those gloves because they have a mesh lining and don't absorb much odor over time like the leather ones I had before:

However, I can say that the ones above never gave me a callus because of the thickness of the leather. However, even if you wash them, the odor remains after many uses.

I currently changed brands to Altus:

I actually like them. They are a thinner, mesh material which breathes and does not trap the odor caused by heavy perspiration over time. And they are more comfortable for lifting because they are thinner. No calluses either.
