Simple question. What kind of body do you like for your guy to generally have. I really like my dudes to be either slim like me, muscular, or solid (i.e. thick-muscular). icon_redface.gif

Lean and muscular -- huge and ripped to shreds is not necessary

P.S. I think the font size you're using is somehow very tranquil and would surely have a calming influence on these threads

Mostly smooth and solid. Don't have to be huge or ripped, but pecs and biceps that fill your hand are fun. Like a nice belly, too, six-pack not required; I just like tight and flat. In the summer I had my body pretty much the way I want it, although Im hoping for bigger shoulders and arms this year. Oh, and legs must match; no sticks please.

    While we're dreaming.....

    Hello
The size and shape of the guy’s body should not be the begin and end, it has more to do with the person than if they have a perfect body or not, I think if you like a guy then you like him because of who and what he can give to you, I like guys with a normal body, not someone who things there body is special, and workout every day, because at the end of the day when they stop working out it all turns into fat, so the point is if you have a normal body or the guy you are looking for has the same then you don’t need to spend half you life working out, just to look good.
That is what I think, I could be wrong.

Muscular, can be beefy but not fat, and preferably bigger than me, which shouldn't be hard, I'm only 5' 9".

Well I would agree that character should trump a perfect body but there is a whole culture around fitness which I don't think is by definition bad. If you work hard on your body (the same way someone might work hard on a musical instrument or another skill) you may choose to seek out someone who does the same as you will encourage each other's good habits.

That being said my BF is not into fitness at all and has a pretty normal/average build. I think here we're talking more about what turns your head on the street than properties of a lifelong mate, but I could be misreading the OP's intentions.

    95% !?!? ;p

most workout it's true, but not THAT many are truly ripped, or have huge muscular look. And not everyone wants it either.
toned and defined is just as hot . i like athletic look, whether big and muscular, slim and wiry , even stocky in some cases can be really hot if the guy is strong .

Well, I'd prefer that they not be as tall as me. I'm also not super keen on "rock solid" either. While muscular is fine, I prefer somethings to remain soft...the right things of course. And he certainly does not have to have a six pack... just not a damn keg! lol.

Though, I can't say that I have a type any longer. I use to believe this, and while there are certainly personalities that just click, I've been surprised more than a few times. So, you never know. While I can say what I like or think I would insist on, sometimes someone comes along who just blows you away and that's to include idea body images.

Assuming any one's not so narrow to be open to such a thing as someone being more than just their bodies, right?

Generally I'm into guys that are shorter than me (or my height)
Lean bodies or otherwise in shape
    Not super hairy

That's about it. Pretty sure I'd make exceptions though, lol.

I'm not really into super ripped guys. I'd actually prefer slightly chubby (like Seth Rogen or Tracy Morgan)

After being with my bf for a year, I'd have to go with his build/size (he's in some of my pics in my profile).
He fits so perfectly in my arms when we are cuddling or watching a movie. Absolute heaven.
