I've only seen the first season but Brittany (the blonde cheerleader) was hilarious.

I feel like Glee is pandering to it's audience which it happens to understand is largely gay. They have a major issue with continuity and plot seems to mean nothing to them. I remember tweeting right after the SuperBowl about how bad the show was.

Keeping in mind I'm someone who watches, I've just accepted being embarrassed that I do. lol

I'm really not a fan of that show. I don't like any of the female singers. I like Kurt and that other guy singing. But the show itself is very unwatchable.

Sue Sylvester is the BEST character... also, Will Shuster (Matt Morrison) is well, a good excuse to watch it. I like their covers of the all times hit songs, the plot comes and goes it's not really about that except for some subplots like Kurt's coming out and dealing with his gayness with his dad and his peers. Other than that they really lost it with the script.

There are three different writers for the show and they each have their own style- so it's no surprise that the show constantly feels like it's being pulled in different directions... it also explain why some episodes suck more than others. icon_razz.gif

Does anyone else feel that Blaine is the new Rachel? -He's getting about 2-3 solos in each episode-

Blaine is probably the most commercially marketable voice they have.. he has pop hit written all over him.

The last episode was disappointing, too negative with the football team and less of the irreverent humor that the earlier episodes had. I don't want the show to be a drama. The out-of-left field characters and humor are what makes the show unique. I hope they don't forget that.

The most recent one was their 'Valentine' episode and it was great- tons of fun and humor.

*Quinn is such a whore and Santana is an evil bitch. <3

I like Glee but the musical arrangements - and this is coming from a Musician and ex Choir Director- is just so...middle of the road, middle class BORING. Its so f**king bland, especially in performance.

Season 1 had a plot....season 2....Ive no idea where the heck its going.

I really wish the writers had got a less screamy campy queen for the gay character - doesnt to anything to help break down stereotypes at all.

    It's a great show

    Britney is always hilarious
    I love Santana's bitchy-ness

But I'm perplexed about them being afraid to take the jump into a romance for Kurt

It's supposed to be a positive show about gays

but so far it only positively shows that when you're gay you don't find anyone icon_confused.gif

The point of having a gay character is not just to "break down a stereotype". Sometimes gay guys fit the stereotype. Kurt is one of them.

The only stereotype being broken is that he came out of the closet in high school, and nobody (but a closeted bully) has a problem with it. And isn't that the more important stereotype to break for kids in high school watching this show?

My boyfriend loves Glee, so I've seen a few episodes and I just don't get it. For the sake of not causing little spats I usually don't watch the whole thing because he gets pissy when I huff or roll my eyes at how wildly unrealistic the whole thing is... which I do pretty often.

    I don't think it's an awful show *cough*idol*cough*, I just can't get into it.

Could use a better looking cast, I guess.

Plus, this week my boyfriend told me they're all supposed to be in highschool and under eighteen, so I'm kinda creeped out by the whole sexy aspect they go for. I guess they kinda did the same thing on Saved by the Bell, though.

Amen on the whole plot thing! They are all over the place! I still enjoy the show, but wonder if that will eventually drive me away.
By the way...Mike Chang - *drool worthy*

I'm still in season 1 soon to close out but I mean 3 writers or not I feel all there I deas clashing and I really did/do want Kurt to have that romance with Finn so bad and he wants it but who knows maybe theres some breakout star were waiting on to match his Fem voice with a Masculine figure if only puck were gay or at least on the Down Low icon_sad.gif
