I personally believe everyone has some worth and good in them and everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt.....right?

But are there just some guys who need the understanding and kind words bypassed in favour of a good old fashioned ass whooping?

    Gentlemen?...................................................Keithicon_question.gif

Absolutely! I often give the benefit of the doubt but there are just some people I would rather give my fist directly to their face. Some people just need to get their ass beat so they can come back to reality. That's how I feel.

But I have been in the mood to beat someone's ass lately though so maybe my opinion isn't the best haha icon_lol.gif

I agree, and some folks are more prevalent not to understand the meaning of manners, and thank-you! I think if we acted with more civility, and understanding and maybe enforcing a civic class and even an etiquette class in school, it would make a difference. I am sometimes appalled of how things have changed. But at last resort, a hard whopass and WTF in your face does the trick!

I got over my "wanna smash your face in" stage after bartending years ago. Now, I think I'm a pretty mellow person and take things in stride. I'll back up my buds if they get into some trouble, but I don't really feel the need to start shit.

Totally agree and I've been in the same mood probably a mixture of testosterone and the homophobic twinks/fat breeders at work who keep talking about how they hate gay serving in the military... yet these mother fuckers cant even pass their AF PT test! icon_rolleyes.gif

I've been thinking about this for several months, and I've come to the conclusion that some people just don't know any better. Put yourself in their shoes and think about their culture and upbringing. If I'm doing something that annoys someone I myself would prefer a polite notice before I get decked in the face. icon_neutral.gif

I always try the (insert ones self in others shoes) method, BUT some people just need a beat down. Like for instance this on fat dude who was in my office talking to my coworker saying he "did not want to get watched in the shower by some faggot". I was like WTF who can even see your little acorn you call a dick under your flab in the first place and second... eww no wear clothes when showing infront of the innocent gym patrons.

Another case just yesterday some dude who cant even accomplish the minimum requirement for a AF PT test in the push up category (33 for a males under 30). He said out loud he wanted to beat the shit ouf of some flamboyant dude he saw in the gym and (wishes we could go back to the days of hazing). I looked at all 134lbs @ 5'8 of him and just thought ways how I could beat him to death with my bare hands.

If anybody who is in need of a what I would call a "physical reality check" is the homophobes who some how think (I/some of us), will just fling glitter or rainbows at them if we get bullied lol get a couple of gay dudes on record beating the shit out of some bigot breeders... and watch how the second class stigma changes.

Nobody ever hates the guy/gal who stands up for one self or even others... but we all laugh at the kind of people who start shit then get their ass beat nuff said...

I thought we were talking about etiquette and the how we generally behave with others and that guy in the truck that drives a foot from my bumper down an icy highway. What your talking about is a brand of homophobia that is closer related to racism.

In both of those cases those guys seem a wee bit jealous.

Putting the fear of "The Gays" into them isn't going to help. Well, it wouldn't hurt to try. icon_lol.gif

yes, sometimes a whoopin' is all the reality needed.
I have a few mouthpieces working around me that I would allow to get punched in the throat a few times. then I would have their back.

So true. Life, however, sometimes takes care of that for us. Had a lawyer rip me off in a personal injury case and not long after went to jail for four years in the Bud Dwyer conspiracy case. Now his spoiled son is sitting in a Peruvian jail (along with Joran Van Der Sloot... sp?) awaiting trial on, allegedly, murdering some girl he met on the internet...the girl that washed up on the beach in a suitcase with the butterfly tattoo on the back of her neck....icon_rolleyes.gif

I totally agree that some people do need their asses kicked. Some people need it because it's the only way they will learn.

The bigger question is who is gonna do it? It's easy to say what people need but unless you plan on giving the person what they need then it's wasted air.

Sometimes the only way to teach somebody a lesson is to speak their language. I prefer to fight with my mouth, but some people can only fight with their fists... in which case, I have never really HAD to do so, but secretly want to..... shhhh

I like the trolling approach and make them fight with themselves. I do agree with the butt kicking on rare instances but trolling is way more fun

Some people have even made a living off of this concept...
"I'm coming down there and whoop someboy's ass.
.How you'd like me to jerk a half-hitch in your ass?"

Honestly there are some horrible people out there and they deserve the biggest smack down conceivable.

I've never shyed away from a fight when it was the only way to defend myself, i've had a fair few, and i've never lost one.

Sometimes they do, in all honesty, resolve a situation and defuse the antagonistic build-up between two people who are constantly butting heads. It can often be a resolution as it brings closure.

Sometimes however, although this is less common, they escalate the situation. This usually happens if their pride cannot allow themselves to be humbled. This is when more people are brought into the mix, or social sanctioning. Albeit, this scenario tends to not be as common as the former described above.

I agree , sometimes it would teach them a good lesson , but the problem is , we would get into a situation that could got tricky , implying sometimes some legal troubles later on .
Volunteering, I have been in situations where i was confronted to animal abusers icon_eek.gif , and i would have gladly and willingly done to them , what they had done to their dog or cat ,

I don't know if everybody posting interprets a "whupping" the same way I do, but I'm convinced they're a vital part of growing up.

I am absolutely convinced I would be much, much more of an a-hole if I didn't have to spend time recovering from the physical and emotional bruises I've collected over the years.

*Of course, I'm not talking about abuse, muggings, hate crimes, etc. The bruises I got... I had them coming, and I'm glad for 'em.

I'm always up for a good ass whooping. Which one do you want me to use--a crop, a paddle (wood, leather, plastic, round, impression, etc.), a belt, a whip, a cane, etc.?
