So, the beat is pretty good, but im sorry her singing isnt as great as i was expecting....lyrical wise. Like I understand shes all for gay rights and what not, but i have my whole life to live GAY, i dont need an album....and besides, is this the new single for Rupaul's Drag Race??

I honestly wasn't fond of it at first but I listened to it about 5 times now and it's grown on me.

I listened to it just a few minutes ago. It sounds A LOT like Express Yourself by Madonna. Maybe it's just in my head.

I love the 90s sound, and I'm expecting the HQ to sound better.

It's clearly "Express Yourself" recycled. Might grow on me though.

It's alright, nothing special. Way too heavy handed.

Christ, a new gay anthem is born.(this way)icon_neutral.gif

I'm just not on the ga ga wagon.

I throw her my best side eye as I don't trust this one.

I suppose the new generation needs their Madonna, Judy, whatever your thing is/was?

I can't hear Express Yourself in this track. It sounds more Kylie than Madonna to me.

It's about 4/10 from me at this point.

ok after a bunch of listens, its a 'good' song but not what id expect from gaga (beat-wise.) it sounds like something you would hear from cher, kimberly locke, donna summer, etc and i dont even like those ladies.

im not too sure about this one Gaga, it will probably be number 1 next week based mainly on people being curious. On the brighter side, i bet we see a second single before the album release bc i dont see this track having much longevity. I do hope I'm wrong though. i do really like Gaga, im not a hater. Shes in my top 2 or 3.

I agree that it's very catchy and I have no doubt it will be all over the place in no time. The dance mixes will be even better. Not sure if it's one of her best, but it's good.

    Hmmm....

I am REALLY digging the beat. It's really catchy, but I still don't think the lyrics are strong as they should be. Great message though.

lmfao but it's REALLY gay though hahahhh

I agree, if the whole album is like this song I'm not really going to like it, I'll probably find it annoying.

I really don't know how I feel about the song, it's a good message but I don't think its Gaga's best. I hope there's some better songs on the album.

I also agree with the Madonna comparison, I do hear Express Yourself in it

I knewwwww this was coming! She had no control over the fame, and only partitally over the fame monster. Her record label made her a star. Then they gave her the power, they let her have her own direction. This is her, this is who she is... However, it's not our Gaga. Telephone was heavily critisized over the video which she controlled, and Ajejandro the last of her singles on the fame monster was the weakest today as an international single which she argued with to a point with her record company, it was obvious Dance in the dark should of been.

Now, at it's anncouncment I knew this was going to be bad, she sung the chorus at MTV in the meat dress, I simply felt like it was a jungle safari theme imprinted in my head straight away, then they released the album cover, which to me was just dirty and grimy and her butt crack showing. Then the offical cover artwork with all her bone structure disfigured with an obvious knock off Kylie Minogue, intentional or not, all artists should do their homework. And frankly we were introduced to a clean, fresh futuristic performer who was involved with all the best pop producers there is, she couldn't fail. It was new and candy to the ears, which is something that she isn't anymore.

Now we have this, it's no Just dance or Bad romance, but this is the first debut single that "Red One" Didn't have involvment with. Honestly, giving her control was the worst idea, no one person can make something everyone wants to hear. Just like in my opinion one political party cant run a whole country.

However, that being said, I love it's message, and I don't hate the song, but it's her weakest single to date in my opinion, and her fag Perez Hilton needs to shut the fuck up already about her already, hes not helping, he's only sucking off her fame for his own. I'm intruiged to see the Video which is being directed by Jonas Ackerland, anything he touches turns to gold, so hopefully if anything it amazing at least icon_smile.gif

Well that's my two cents... Bye

BTW! IM HER BIGGEST FAN! AND WILL LOVE HER NO MATTER WHAT!

Just to clear that all up...icon_smile.gif

Wow, Lady Gaga and this song is really gay. I know i'm not supposed to use that word for anything negative, but I think it's appropriate in this context. The song sucks, Lady Gaga is over the top and ridiculous like drag queens and some femm gays. This post will probably get deemed inappropriate and not allowed to be posted, because whether we like it or not, it is not a free world and there are little equal rights for oppinions anymore, especially in our community.
