CPAC Bans Homosexuals

World Net Daily reports that the board of directors of the governing organization of CPAC has voted to exclude GOProud (and any other "homosexual advocacy" group) from next year's convention.

To all you homosexual Conservatives, Libertarians, Teabaggers, and Republicans, get it through your fat, hypocritical heads that THEY DON"T LIKE YOU, and THEY DON'T WANT YOU, and THEY DON'T SUPPORT YOUR HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA, or any other "values" you might have.

    Words mean nothing.
We must judge the Repubs by their ACTIONS.

Their actions are speaking LOUD and PROUD.
They believe that gay Americans should be treated as second class citizens, and they intend to implement their activist anti-gay agenda in any way they can.

THEIR actions make it clear that they've chosen to be advocates for the extremist religious right, and that they're our enemy.

We ignore that at our own risk.

Moths to the flame -- they won't listen. They are blind to the increasingly anti-gay polarization of conservatives and the Republican Party.

Right-wing gays will continue to argue for "constructive engagement" and other delusions. It's now important that the rest of us not follow their "Pied Piper" attitude regarding the Republican Party, and realize the danger to us it truly is.

It is a pity that they're being so narrow minded. I wonder what GOProud etc will do about it?

RickRick, why are you so self-loathing? You really hate yourself. Why is that?

I'm not saying that you're self-loathing, CJ, but I can't see how Rick who always stands up for gays and other minorities is self-hating. (And he's HOT)

I guess Chris Barron said something about other conservative leaders in CPAC being bigots and so their presence next year is being reviewed because of that fact. However, I think a lot of the social conservatives are trying to use it as an excuse to exclude them. Personally, I have a feeling that it will fail and that they will be back.

WND is not a very reputable source for things like this.

    Correct.

Sorry, guys - but there is no excuse for the actions of the AZ Repubs.
    Period.

And there's no excuse for Obama being against gay marriage either, but you will go on supporting someone who denies you equal rights! You self hater!

President Obama supports civil unions but is personally uncomfortable with gay marriage.
    That's his PERSONAL opinion.
However - he doesn't advocate pushing PUBLIC policies that deny equal rights for gays.
    The Republican party does.
It's an important and very simple distinction - yet it's obviously not simple enought for you to grasp.

I'd go further and say that Obama is in support of gay marriage but is leery of announcing it because it will be used against him by the same Republican politicians so many of our conservatives friends on here support.

So how does this make him different from say, senator Ron Johnson who defeated Russ Feingold? He supports civil unions as well. But of course, since he's republican you'll find some reason to find fault.

    LOL!
I'm glad we have President Obama - a President who supports civil unions and full equal rights under the law for gay Americans - and who has done more for gays in two years than any President in U.S. history - and NOT a President John McCain - the gay hating Repub who led the opposition to repealing DADT last year.

We're not talking about what ONE Repub's views are.
Johnson's PERSONAL views are NOT the same as the agenda and official party platform of the Republican party.
    DUH!
