    ^^ What the?

She's made something like 65 million dollars last year and her last two singles went number one. Her career is the last thing she needs to be worried about.

probably got cut because she's a shitty performer who can't sing .... hell she couldn't even lip sync.
She's probably the most overrated, least talented person in showbiz.
She's very lucky to be where she is, cos honestly, I don't see her being good at anything... mediocre at best.

The GRAMMYs performance was a rumor.

And yah, the fact that she did nothing in 2010 and still made over $64 Million says she has nothing to worry about, career wise.

She's a cemented music and cultural icon. And she's swimming in money. She did something right.

She's successful thanks to the modern studios and recording equipment that makes her sound the way she does in her songs.

That equipment can do amazing things with people's voices. There's a reason most pop artists pre-record their concerts, then lip sink their own music on stage, without the studio equipment to make them sound good, their concerts would suck.

Only time I listen to most modern pop music is if happens to be playing at a club when I'm there, it is good to dance to, nice beat, or if I'm in someone's car that plays it.

yes I'm sure she will be revered as such a 100 years from now. icon_rolleyes.gif

come on, she was just a cute teenage girl in the right place at the right time. in the 90's teen pop stars and boy bands were in mass production, and those who had the best help survived. she's really just a trained monkey. like many others.

I doubt she'd pass the auditions in american idol, were she a teenager today.

lmfao. Just look it up. It was on Forbes. And plenty of other places. She did nothing last year and was still one of the most successful people in the business financially. Her album is going to SLAY. Don't hold it against me~

So she was 'just in the right place and the right time?'. So shouldn't that mean she should be one hit wonder? Why is she still one of the top selling artists in the industry? And People are TRAINED in dance, voice, music, etc. So I think every artist out there is a 'trained monkey'. icon_wink.gif

I didn't say Brit sucked specifically, did i? And I also didn't say all pop concerts were pre-recorded, just most. All I was basically saying was that w/o modern equipment, she most likely would not be where she is today, same goes for most modern pop stars. I do listen to her and dance to some of her stuff if I happen to be at a club, I just don't buy for myself.
