I want to loose this weight I got mainly for health reasons, as there is a history of bad genetics and deteriorating health problems with men in my family as they get older, but of coarse the bi product of loosing the weight and toning up is that others start to maybe see you in a more, um....sexual or better light than before. And somehow I am doubting if I can handle that shift in perspective okay, or if I will even 'believe' someone finds me sexy after all the years of not being found to be sexy or sexually desirable because of my excess weight issues.

So my question I guess is really how did the guys here who lost a lot of weight deal with that sudden shift in everyone around them treating them when they gained their new physiques ? Did family or friends treat you any different ? Did you even believe guys in the clubs or cafes when they called you sexy or acted like they were into you ?

Tough question. After I lost about 30 pounds I did get a great reaction from everyone. I can't say for sure if it was the weight loss itself or my new found confidence to which people were reacting. It doesn't matter, confidence is a great by-product of a healthy weight and life style. Just enjoy it!
