Alright, it's almost music festival season!! I'm having a tough time deciding which one(s) I want to go to. The Hangout Festival in May has a surprisingly good line-up for only its 2nd year, but Bonnaroo just came out with theirs yesterday and its looking pretty good as well. Wakarusa is definitely up there at the top of my list too. Anyone have other opinions or other ideas??

I always used to go to Bumbershoot, but sort of stopped when I was too old to have even heard of any of the headliners. The great thing about Bumbershoot is that top 10 bands are playing on one stage, and garage bands that just started last week are playing over on another. And the crowd is so thick that you can't tell who just pinched your ass.

Last time I went, Third Eye Blind was headlining, and were really good. Ray Davies played earlier in the day to a 2/3 empty room, and kids were coming in and not getting it and walking out. I knew it was time for Ray, and I, to leave.

Oh, back in the day, there were The Oregon Jams. Long gone... The only bands I can remember from the last one were Blue Oyster Cult and Joan Jett. I think alcohol and sun stroke have erased the rest.

Were those the ones Skerik would host? I have one on CD I really like.

EDC may not even happen this year, at least not at the Coliseum.

Coachella all the way! Makes White Party look like a high school prom.

Reading Festival (Reading is a place in the UK, it's not like a book thing) and possibly Glastonbury festival if I can get tickets.
