    Hmmm interresting !

I really think that was her best videoclip in a WHILE (like... A WHILE !).

But that product placement... Gosh ! That was so Telephone-ish ! I didn't like the Brit VS Brit fight. I don't see the point of it, I think it was misplaced... But maybe I'm just dumb.

Same thing with the flashy paint at the tip of her finger. Except for making me think of Willow Smith's Whip My Hair, it had no purpose there ?

And the setup seemed like a mix of Muse's Undisclosed Desire and BSB's Get Down icon_lol.gif

One more thing that dissapointed me is the last sequence, the choreography. She's just lost that raw britney-ish energy that would make her audience forget every other dancer but her. Even when she has a spot on her, she's in the center, and she's Britney Spears, she's overstaged by her dancers that are REALLY into it.

And one laaaast thing. What the fuck is wrong with her mouth at 2:45 ? Geez, that was akward !

But in the end, that was waaaaay better than her last videos. I was expecting more, but I feel glad for her !She's on the right track, baby, she was... Oups, omg, sorry. icon_lol.gif

Yea their was a lot of product placement but thats what pays for a lot of it...i

    Shit was so sick!

The fight scene was a metaphor for her killing the old Britney...And I think that all the videos symbolized that too...The video is open for interpretation.

Maybe no 10/10 Dancing but she Still Brough something BAD ASS and Fresh

Im very proud of her and if this is where her Era is going its going to be Sick.

***I love when shes fighting and kicking ass throwing up her hands and it goes quite and zooms in on her heels like shes a girly girl but still can throw down...Small detail I like. Watch for it

great video. thought she was going for the retro 80s vibe at the beginning.
She looks like the real-life incarnation of Jem. :-)

I'm going with the Peter Griffin criticism...

    "It insists upon itself."

Having held all preconceived notions of Britney in the past aside, I'd have to admit that this video is actually really great. The only clip I hate is that 5 frames of the word "Sony."

Hmm...interesting explanation of the video I found on youtube!

From YouTubeFor people who do not understand the meaning of the video:

Start of her career - She hit the earth like a meteor

Becoming a celebrity - She's all glammed up putting make-up and perfume

Rising popularity - She's rising as her old music videos surround her

She fell in love - The picture of the guy on the Sony touchscreen TV

Personal struggle - She was fighting with herself

Breakdown/Meltdown - She collapses and ruins her wedding dress and past work

Comeback - She comes back harder than ever

I like this video, and yep, I got that interpretation that someone posted on Youtube before I read their comment.

I like it because I feel that a good amount of thought and artistry has gone into its creation and we get something more than just a dance number, some flashing lights, grinding hips and the song. In this video, we get Britney's story and the message that she's put this part of her life behind her. She acknowledges it, but she's on a new path now. For this, I think it's great.

I didn't really like the obvious product placement. But then I realised that it matches the story, of when she was doing a lot of sponsorship deals. Kudos to Jonas Åkerlund for integrating that in a way that made sense icon_smile.gif

I'm still not really a fan of Britney and her music, but I salute and support what she's saying here. For her and her fans, it truly is a new era.

I like the song but not the video.

The dance sequences seemed out of sync with the music and there was too much product placement.

Way too many quick cuts to try and hide the fact that she's not as thin as she used to be, can no longer dance (or probably didn't practice), and looks bored.

I never really saw her appeal, though I admit to liking I'm A Slave For You, and most of the Blackout album.

I liked the video, but not really one of her best. Too much fast editing that didn't show off her dancing nearly enough. She did look gorgeous in it, but the editing was so quick, and the pace so frenetic, that the viewer isn't able to really savor any of the images. The product placement was way too IN YOUR FACE -- it was ridiculous. "Me Against The Music" is still one of my favorites in terms of the dancing.

Anyone else think she should have been fighting "Britney" from Glee ? That would have been a hilarious, but very entertaining twist to witness, LOL

Glee fans would have orgasmed immediately too! icon_twisted.gif

I must have missed something because I was not impressed in the least. If she was going to go that route, she should have at least thanked Sony at the end for financing her video.

Completely overdone and unnecessary. This is how your disguise a mediocre song, a lot of fast editing.
