Great acoustical version from their 2004 "Our Kind of Soul" album. Daryl Hall still has that great soulful voice.

Mi Gaud, he's gone downhill! quite a change from the Slim, Sexy Stud he was at the peak of their popularity.

( 'course, the same could be said about me icon_sad.gif )

he still sounds darn good, though! he still has that "Perfect Pitch" voice intact.

i saw him live at tampa's guava'een festival around 1997. obviously drunk/stoned/whatever, a death grip on the microphone stand to stay erect, but when he opened his mouth and sang.....WOW! he didn't miss one note or slur a single word.

If you're a fan, give The Bird and the Bee's tribute album a try, Interpreting the Masters, it's very good. Almost as enjoyable as the originals.

I think he looks fine. The man is 64. I saw Hall and Oates twice in concert, once in college, Lansing Michigan, 1982.
