I came across this very awesome proposal for a photo project to document men dancing together. The video he puts together to introduce the project is quite good. I thought you might be interested.

Well, after waiting for a respectable day, I see that no one has posted. So, I'm going to comment on my own post to see if I get any bites. I think this project looks pretty cool.

There is NOTHING as sexy as two men Tango'ing together. Hot as hell!

I watched it and didnt really know what to say....

But I will add that I love to Two Step, Waltz and swing dance with guys. I am not really into dancing that doesnt require a partner icon_rolleyes.gif

I was struck by the memory that I shared with the documentarian - I can remember being uneasy the first time I saw men dancing together.

    Very interesting project.

I'm jealous. I don't have good rhythm. But I do like watching 2 guys dance.

I didnt always have good rhythm but it got a lot better with a little practice and a lot of patience. Now I am always trying to convince people to try to two-step with me.

I wasn't too freaked out about men dancing together at first, as I went into some dance clubs and it was what I expected.

The first time I saw guys two-stepping and waltzing together changed that. Much more of an intimate dance and I felt it was strange... its fun though.

I've always found it to be fun, though at first i was completely thrown off. Dancing closer and in such ways as the Tango, now thats fun. The grind dancing of the typical night club is alright. But something more sophisticated is sooooo much more interesting and fun.

I suck at dancing. I have no coordination, nor balance to keep up with the rhythm. Though, this one time, at a random house party, this straight guy got me to ballroom dance with him. I had no idea what I was doing, so he said "I'll lead. You just go with it." And so I did. And whoa.

Regardless of his sexuality, that guy literally swept me off my feet with his dancing. I'd never actually danced with a guy up until that moment, and I will say, it will be something I will never forget.

For a guy that knows how to dance, is extremely sexy. Seeing two guys that know how to dance is both extremely sexy, and makes me jealous. :-P

Hey, sorry I didn't reply sooner. But, this is one of my favorite things to do. I'll lead or follow, doesn't matter if he's good or not. It's a big plus if he's cute.

Oh, uh, by the way, I'll be in Cincinnati in August. I hope I'll get a dance with you. Yes, you're cute.

Wow, NSync...Gosh, I do miss the era when boy bands roamed the earth...

Anyways, yea, 2 men dancing together, I'm still not quite used to seeing that yet, and I've danced with other guys many times before. Forgetting yourself in the moment and watching men dancing together are two completely different things I guess. Cultural norms are hard to shake off.. This looks like an awesome project, both for the straight populations and gay men who grew up conservatively such as myself.

    Very cool project.

I was hoping to see two guys swing dancing, dancing ballroom, or salsa dancing together.
Maybe it's in the project somewhere.

It's the one time that someone can actually ask "which one does the woman's part?" without coming across completely stupid.
