"For what’s happening in Wisconsin isn’t about the state budget, despite Mr. Walker’s pretense that he’s just trying to be fiscally responsible. It is, instead, about power. What Mr. Walker and his backers are trying to do is to make Wisconsin — and eventually, America — less of a functioning democracy and more of a third-world-style oligarchy. And that’s why anyone who believes that we need some counterweight to the political power of big money should be on the demonstrators’ side. "

Krugman left out all of the Nazi' posters and nasty negative signs. I mean I dont see anything but white faces in that crowd. They are just a bunch a racists

A note to Tea Party activists: This is not the movie you think it is. You probably imagine that you’re starring in “The Birth of a Nation,” but you’re actually just extras in a remake of “Citizen Kane.”

This is how the Tea Party is portrayed as Clansmen

Lets see the hypocrites spin that one. The crowd doesnt seem very diverse. In fact look at the signs they are carrying, Negative pictures with swastikas and Hitler pictures. Therefore they are a bunch of bigots .

He is also the responsible guy that linked the tea party to Rep Gifford's assassination attempt. Funny how that disappeared from the front pages, I guess its too hard to connect the dots.
So we should listen to him now?

Hes just the sergeant at arms for the left wing power structure that is whining over what its lost.

I addressed the ethnic make up in another thread.
Wisconsin is 89.4% white. The biggest concentration of minorities in the state is in Milwaukee, 90 miles away.
If you had any concept of the Working Poor, you would realize how difficult it is for a working person to hop in a car and make the trip to Madison. Many of the working poor in WI are minorities and they live 90 miles away from the center of the protests. These people have a hard enough time making ends meet the way it is and a spur of the moment trip to Madison is not within their budgets.
    Get a clue.
I can tell you that the protest I went to in Milwaukee was representative of our diverse population.
Stop trying to cloud the issue by playing the race card. It is an insult to the working poor of Wisconsin.

You needn't address musclemed's posts. I'm convinced he's just another right-wing loser with a fake profile.

I know. I'm ashamed of myself for taking the bait. I need to learn to let my anger go when I read his posts.

Remember your argument next time its said about the Tea Party.

Since you didnt notice i will clue you in, I dont believe they are racist at all. It was sarcasm.

But I am using the same barometer the tea party had been measured by.

Its as ridiculous there as it is here. And its garbage like that is the reason why I am skeptical of anything out of the progressive machine.

Whats even worse is a self appointed RJ god who is "Convinced" i am a fake.

He is just a name calling community organizer, who cant go through one thread without making a personal attack.

I am a pretty reasonable person , I will listen to anyone, provided they too will listen back. This GOD just bombthrows , name calls, curses and is generally unpleasant.

That GOD isnt interested in discourse. You will know who this RJ GOD is because he freely calls everyone who he doesn't agree with "Idiot"

Funny thing is, I think i met him once, he was talking to himself on the "F" train..........poor thing.

The Tea Party is considered racist because the plethora of posters with the President with a bone through his nose at their rallies, not their racial composition. icon_rolleyes.gif

Total BS. A plethora? How many exactly is a plethora? And from news accounts of lefties infiltrating tea party rallys e.g. Nevada, it was probably a plant, paid for by George Soros.
