Okay so being a student I'm tight on cash and with a few things hitting the wallet this month I'm not able to buy my protein shakes.
    Any cheap alternatives?
    A friend suggested I by eggs (I can get 30 for £2)

    Thanks Guys

Yeah, but how many eggs are you gonna have to eat that will match the nutritional value of a protein shake? Last time I checked, one medium size egg offers 3 - 5 grams of protein. And a typical protein shake offers 25 - 30 grams of protein. I dunno about you, but I can't eat that many eggs in one sitting. icon_lol.gif

I would recommend getting protein powder in bulk or meal replacement powder packs. They're more cheaper than the ready-to-drink protein shakes.

I used to be in the same situation and I had to resort to eggs, 10 eggs (egg white only.) That was a lot and I only could manage to do that once/day. It was just too many eggs to go through in one sitting as xrichx said.
