When would you be concerned about your roommate?

So, moving into the city, Ive found myself in a situation that I wouldnt have guessed before. My roommate has been missing for the past 6 days. The last time I saw him was Thursday night (he was going to edge) and I figured he was gone for the holiday weekend. Yesterday, I was home from 3 onwards, and didnt see him come back at all. I wouldnt really be concerned, as I go places from time to time and dont really tell him, however one of his friends showed up last night asking if he was OK. The last time he saw him was Thursday night as well, and since then he hasnt responded to any text messages, his phone goes straight to voicemail, and no one knows where he is.

Am I overreacting a bit by being concerned? If not, what should my next steps be?

If it's been 6 days and his friends haven't heard from him earlier, it's probably cause for concern. Try and get a hold of his family members and see if they know anything, if not, they or you should file a missing persons report.

This. You should call his family and than file a report.

His family lives in Turkey, and he is a lot older than me (he is like 4icon_cool.gif so I dont know if he would have connected with him. Im gonna try his landlord to see if he has a work number I should try and then consider a missing persons report.

Do it quickly. Your own situation comes under suspicion if you don't.

Hey guys don't know if anyone cares but I found my roommate. He was a John doe at the Icu critical care wing. He had tons of tubes coming out of his mouth to breath and should be transferred to the kaiser icu wing tomorrow. His pelvic bone is shattered as well as his wrists. The damn police didn't do anything icon_sad.gif.
