So I am in my first year of college, just taking core classes for now. However I plan on going to school to get a Bachelor's in Radiologic Technology. I was wondering if anyone else on here has gone down this career path. Any advice on good schools to go to or good programs?

I can't advise on schools in the USA, but I can tell you that you've picked the best career in any hospital.

I've been doing it for more years that I want to admit, but I still love going to work every day. I love meeting the patients and knowing that their experience was better because I was their Tech.

I had a series of great teachers and role models when I started out, and it greatly influenced who I was when I graduated and then blossomed as a Technologist on the job.

The cream always rises to the top. Latch onto the people around you who are the best at what they do, feed off of their energy, and learn from them. Be inspired by excellence, and don't be dissuaded by the lazy people around you.

We have the best machines in the hospital to play with! Going to work is like being a kid and going to the sandbox! CT is awesome. The 3-D CT reconstructions are mind-blowing. Interventional procedures are like being in the O.R. and we do save lives, with literally minutes to spare when patients are bleeding to death.

You won't regret choosing to be a Radiology Technologist.
