WI Gov. Scott Walker's budget fix bill also grants him the ability to sell off the state's power plants with no bids.

    No bid?

The Righties on here must be very upset...since that's one of the things the GOP hates is no bit contracts.

Doesn't the cost go down when you have competing companies vying for the contract?

    ISN'T THAT THE AMERICAN WAY?

How sad that The Wanker is so UnAmerican.

    Why does he hate America?

There's also stuff in the bill about his powers to restructure Medicaid funding (e.g. eligibility and copays).

I guess they just have to pass the bill to see what's in it. icon_lol.gif

why would ANY WI state legislator, republican or democrat, support a bill that gives the governor the power to do this destructive damage to the state they are supposed to be serving?

It's even easier to tell when lefties are over-reaching and indulging in wishful thinking. I think the righties are not weighing in mostly because this story, and it's implications, is only still evolving. Knee-jerk reactions are usually for the misinformed.

It's all political isn't it? Isn't it just 100% politics? ...Have you looked at the list of the top 10 donors to political campaigns? Seven of those 10 donate to Republicans. The other three that remain of those top 10, they all donate to Democrats and they are all unions. Bust the unions, it's over....And this started when? It started with the Koch brothers. The Koch brothers were organizing...

Oh BTW .... don't try to get in touch with Shep Smith
