Night shift worker and workout

As a flexible 12 hour night shift worker, I have problems with most beginner workout routines. They all seem to recommend a Mon, Wed, Fri full body circuit.

Most of the time I don't have that flexibility. I might have a week with 3 consecutive days to workout in. What would you suggest?

I have read about splitting push/pull, etc., but as beginner I really don't know what that means.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. But please talk to me as a noobie. I really don't know what I'm doing.

Don't stress too much about it.

Fit your workout pattern around your work pattern. Workout plans are always an ideal thing anyways and most busy people find life can get in the way.

I'd suggest you follow the plan as much as you can, but put more rest days in (due to your work commitments).

You should see the results you want inspite of not being able to adhere to the plan rigidly.

Remember exercise should be fun (not a chore) and fit into your life, otherwise you'll start to find excuses not to do it and lose heart.

Sorry I haven't been more practical mate, but good luck.
