This means there'll soon be less SUV's blocking traffic and taking up two spaces at a time.
Yay for higher gas prices!!! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

I never take up two spaces!! And I'm never blocking traffic....and actually that's kind of stupid, ALL cars can cause traffic. High test is $3.51 here this morning.

Wrong. My suburban has a 40 gallon tank. I'll still be driving around at last month's prices for another three or four weeks.

The endless loop of America's stupidity:

Geez, prices are up again, we need to wean ourselves off of foreign oil------->hey, now they're lower, let's forget about it----------> hey, they're up again, let's solve it with $40,000 electric cars that no one can afford--------->nope, it's coming down, let's forget about it----------->Up again, drill Canada (so we can be dependent on another country again)-------->REPEAT.

I can't wait until we aren't reliant on gas and oil anymore.

The cheapest price this last week here in So. California has been $3.51 for regular. We have lots of refineries....and have some of the highest prices for gas. It's always been that way...
The thing that pisses me off the most is that BP (AM/PM) usually has the best price, but only by about 4 cents per gallon. It's being said that the gas hike is the result of the unrest in Middle East (OPAC)....but, supposedly, BP does not buy Arab oil...so they are just going along with the rest and hiking their prices for NO reason!!

I'm no expert, but I'm guessing that, like any commodity, when the price goes up, it goes up everywhere, regardless of where it came out of the earth. It is a matter of global supply and demand.

Im with you on this. Coming to work this morning, I was traveling in a pack with 4 large SUVs in front and 2 behind me. Couldn't tell but prolly only one person in each vehicle. The SUV and McMansion is the epitomy of American excess. Hopefully, the higher gas prices will thin out the herd of gass guzzlers.

I understand how frustrating it is, but there are Libyans dying to free themselves from their insane leader.

its 1.20 per litre here, or roughly 4.50 per gallon. how does that work, considering the oil comes from my country. I thought we were supposed to be all rich like the arabs? hmmm
