i'm amazed this blatant attempt at political payback favortism doesn't have the citizens of WI signing "Recall Walker" petitions.

As some other poster recently said:

Not all Democrats are princes, and not all Republicans are villains.

Because there are plenty of corrupt, scumbag pols with a (D) after their name I can think of as easily as ones with an (R).

    http://www.washingtonblade.com/2011/02/26/dozens-testify-at-md-house-hearing-on-marriage-bill/

Excerpt from article:A warning signal that support in the House could diminish surfaced earlier in the week when Del. Melvin Stukes (D-Baltimore City), a co-sponsor of the marriage bill for the past four years, withdrew his sponsorship.

Stukes told the Baltimore Sun he thought the bill would have given same-sex couples the right to obtain civil unions rather than marriage. Once he realized the measure would allow gays to marry he determined he made a mistake, he told the Sun.

“I’m very sorry that I got on the bill,” he said.

    ALL Democrats... indeed?

This is disappointing but I think it's important to maintain the distinction between not supporting a particular bill, and actively introducing and supporting a bill that is anti-gay.
