I am new to Philadelphia and I am wondering if there is a great supplement store in CC (or around CC) to go to besides GNC or Vitamin Shoppe? I find that the workers there have no clue about good supplements and usually each City has a great place to go where the staff know what the he__ they are talking about. Suggestions?

Ok, I am going to answer my own post since I see people are viewing it. I have found that the GNC on Chestnut (between 17 & 18th streets) seems to have the most educated staff so far. I would prefer to support a local group vs a chain, but since I am new to the area I don't yet know that one place to go to for great supplements

Amazon.com has some decent deals on supplements. The cool thing is, you can "subscribe" to certain supplements have them automatically sent to you, at an interval you specify.

I would not go to either of those places. They take a good product and add lots of fillers.

Your better off going to a health food store.

All supplements are not created equal, most in up in the sewer. Most people waste their money everyday, I used to be one of them.

I take it's Vital, it is 100% organic whole food, it packs a punch is very affordable. I was amazed, it tastes great and dissolves in water in less than 20 minutes.

Everything your body needs from A-Z on a day to day basis.

The company also has a killer HGH supplement that is 100% food as well. My friend who is a fitness trainer, ex body builder tried it. His body was started to get more lean and defined after 4 days. It leans out your muscle mass

He was blown away, as he does not even use protein powder.

It is rare to find a brick and mortar store that can sell a supplement for less than Amazon and in addition to getting them sent automatically when you subscribe, you usually save another 15% off their price with the subscription.

I agree prices are the best online, it is just hard to filter through everything available. I was lucky in Milwaukee to have found a great locally own store where you really got great advice. It took word of mouth to find it so I was not sure if that store existed here in Philly. All I see here are chain stores.

    Thanks for the advice!
