Weird to think this was 1989
BlackLabSD saidI did too. I never cared for March of the Pigs but live I loved it! And it was all synchronized to background lights and such. Amazing.
That's What I Get!
Minion saidIts sad Trent said that he's done with NIN It was good while it lasted.
unfounded7 saidI remember when I bought the Pretty Hate Machine on cassette. I popped it in my car's cassette player and didn't take it out for a week. A constant loop. I was lucky enough to see him perform a full set at 91's Lollapalooza. Siouxsie and the Banshees that year, too. Like a dream come true!

Not to rub it in (maybe just a little) but the first Lollapalooza was fantastic. I wasn't the biggest fan of Jane's Addiction but that may have been one of the funnest days of my life. Memories.
Ravco saidOK, I'm in too before this thread is gone. I had no idea there was so much NIN appreciation around here. Lights in the Sky was probably the best concert I ever saw, and like a previous poster said, the lights were unbelievable. The wall of movers was animated in such a way that the lights themselves became props. Mesmerizing.
Congrats to him on his Oscar win!
