Most worthy 70 bucks and 5 hours of music, ever.

I did too. I never cared for March of the Pigs but live I loved it! And it was all synchronized to background lights and such. Amazing.

    That's What I Get!

Oh man. The whole show. All the lights, the movement. It was fanfuckingtastic. During Survivialism did you think you were actually being recorded?

I remember when I bought the Pretty Hate Machine on cassette. I popped it in my car's cassette player and didn't take it out for a week. A constant loop. I was lucky enough to see him perform a full set at 91's Lollapalooza. Siouxsie and the Banshees that year, too. Like a dream come true!

Not to rub it in (maybe just a little) but the first Lollapalooza was fantastic. I wasn't the biggest fan of Jane's Addiction but that may have been one of the funnest days of my life. Memories.

I still listen to Pretty Hate Machine and The Downward Spiral but have lost track of NIN over the years. Thanks to this thread I've found some good stuff from Ghosts I-IV and The Slip, which I didn't even know existed.

    This one stands out-

i used to be so into charles manson. i was so jealous they were living in the tate house it burnt a hole in my stomach. i still love charles manson but not as much. although my number one answer all the time to if i could go back in time and do anything it would be to go on a creepy crawl.

trent nivek chris connely martin atkins...this shit is unreal. they are so fucking high on dope its absurd. i dont get how they arent all dead.

hes become something i dont identify with but i think thats whats sposed to happen. you cant always be some dickhead in a spiked out leather jacket playing with electric tape and hoping teenagers come to your shows.

OK, I'm in too before this thread is gone. I had no idea there was so much NIN appreciation around here. Lights in the Sky was probably the best concert I ever saw, and like a previous poster said, the lights were unbelievable. The wall of movers was animated in such a way that the lights themselves became props. Mesmerizing.

Congrats to him on his Oscar win!

Yeah I think it was awesome that he won and Oscar tonight.
He also looks pretty hot with short hair and a light scruffy beard.icon_redface.gificon_redface.gif
