Those Three Little Words..(or two, or one..)

I tend to talk too much. And write too much (as so many of you know). But in truth, the economy of language is a personal quest.

I can't help that I do get VERY verbal in bed, and speak out loud (or whisper) what I'm enjoying, what I admire and find hot about a guy, praise, fantasize, encourage, etc. I don't edit. I'm bad at editing. Editing and I don't really jive (witness....)

But in the end, the sexiest fucking thing, and the MOST reassuring thing to say and to hear is simply "I Love You".

Many of us crave it, most of us if we don't crave it can't help but feel good when we hear it (provided we can reciprocate and don't feel 'trapped' or rushed). But there's something amazing that can be added to that that makes it even better. And it's only TWO words...

    "come here".

The hottest version is actually one word "c'mere". Followed by reaching over, pulling you into him, folding himself around you in silence. Nothing else need be said. That's all that's required in my book. (FYI, it works just as well in the throws of sweat and spit, frankly "C'mere!" Hell yes!)

I feel very connected, and (perhaps, admittedly and absurdly) protective when I say it, and put my arm around a guy, resting his head on my chest and wrapping my arms and legs around him in confident embrace.

"C'mere" closes the gap, quells the longing, and answers the unanswerable. If that childish echo from the well rises in the moment, and starts wondering "is he having a good time? Is he into me?" When you hear "c'mere", it shuts that little fucker up in no time flat.

It ends fights (provided it's not followed by a right hook) and answers stupid questions, offers endless reassurance and somehow puts a pin in the need to say anything else. Spoken confidently, calmly, honestly, it says it all to me.

What are the words that do the same for you?

My bf never has to say a thing when we arrive at that point...... I'm already there.. and if he ever said "cmere" like that... he wouldn't know what hit him.

Now interestingly enough, he doesn't much like it when I say "you there" when I talk to him on the phone as a greeting... and I remember a friend of mine also viewed it in a negative context. Never have understood that really.

well, Kansan it's not said in a demanding tone, or condescending. Think "aww..." before the "c'mere" and then tell me, would you still deck him?

I don't think any words are sexy really. I think it's sexiest if they can get the point across without having to say anything.

In other situations, words that I RARELY hear are "beautiful" and "gorgeous".
I would fucking DIE if a guy called me either of those. I would melt in his arms so fast he would think I was a snowman. Unfortunately, I'm apparently the only person that ever thinks that it's a good idea to use those words as compliments. icon_neutral.gif
I don't hold it against anybody, but... come on, "cute" is alright and I like it, "hot" and "sexy" are acceptable but feel like all you're thinking about is fucking me, but "beautiful" and "gorgeous" are words you don't use unless you really mean them.

Oh, but keep in mind that "you're so beautiful" is fucking creepy if we're in the heat of the moment and it's clearly just a hookup. icon_lol.gif

Hmmm. I agree with Andrew. I actually called a guy gorgeous this weekend when we were getting it on. I really meant it though..

I've whispered "damn, you're beautiful!" and meant it. Love hearing those words! Language has power if, as Tom Stoppard says, you get the right words in the right order.
