8 and a half years, and it was/is the biggest mistake of my life. The past is the past though, so I've definitely grown and moved on (still would have been nice to avoid but oh well).

2 years... It sucks giving someone everything you have, and then having them tear you apart. The only thing that is even more heartbreaking, is seeing someone you loved so much at one time become a completely different person for the worse. I learned a bunch, and I am so much happier now than I ever was before him, or while I was with him. Now I am just waiting for someone who understands what monogamy is. Lol

Seems no one likes long time relationship?
I'd like to think of it this way: long time relationship could be something memorable in your life when you are older. When I think of an eight years relationship, I would ask myself how many eight years can I have in my life, and what are the chances to have 2 eight-year relationships? Should not it be valued no matter it is good or bad?

ALMOST one year. I was kind of a dick and ended it a couple of weeks before our anniversary.

but it was a life-changing experience for the better and I don't regret it at all.

Two years and nice months, and it wasn't worth staying in it for that long. The next one will be, when it happens icon_smile.gif

Six awesome, beautiful, perfect years. The very best years of my life. If I could, I'd re-live it over, and over, and over again.

    Love it! Right on man!

Just short of two years for me. Over now, and dont regret a minute of it. Lots of mutual respect and affection still.

I was with my ex for 3.5 years. We had our ups and our downs, but it I think of it fondly. =-) We were in love and it was pretty awesome.
