Divorce - Moving ahead

Well, my wife and I made the plunge off the cliff today and filed our divorce papers with the Supreme Court. Funny, there was no pain and no emotions (well, the odd chuckle and smile, and wink)....we took our time over the last year and talked everything out twice and thrice and the weaning process has worked for us. A little bit each day until now; when both of us are ready, and looking forward to moving on.

I just wanted to let so many of you that I know here on RJ with wives and families, see that there is a happy ending to this. Not always, I am neither blind nor stupid....but like all things, if time is given and patience and love exercised, then you can part friends.

I am hoping to be in my new home in Mexico by months end and I am looking forward to my wife, who is now my best girlfriend to come down and visit me, and maybe, my boyfriend. My sons and grandsons will one day see their dad and grandad and, like now, they will be fine with me and I with them.

Hang in there my brothers....this too does get better........all my best wishes and thoughts to each and every one of you that are still struggling with this very very daunting situation..................Keith

As you get closer to the light, you'll notice that light is actually sign that reads "oops, wrong turn...you missed the intersection a mile back. Have a nice day."

I never went through what you did Keith, but you are a prime example that you can be who you truly are no matter the situation nor how long or short it may take to stand and be proud of who you are. Well done and may the next chapter written by you be as wonderful as you felt when you posted this thead! Cheers! icon_biggrin.gif
