Thought I'd share this since I'm home alone on a Friday night :S

This was from last night's Lady Gaga Concert. I went with my bf. Bought him these $400 tickets for his birthday and it was absolutely a blast!

In case you don't know who the little girl is:

Wow, man, 68 post, and I already hate you. icon_rolleyes.gif

Now, back to topic. That was adoooorable. I really liked the performance, but also the way she talked to the girl on the radio. For sure, that's publicity, but it's good publicity in my opinion. That little girl's dream just came true and was bigger than she ever thought it would be ! icon_smile.gif Awww, sweet !

I would rather watch this littler girl sing and perform than Lady Gaga any day.

Guy94, don't you know not to insult Lady Gaga on this forum? The claws of the Gaga fans will come out and threaten your death icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm not even that much of a Gaga fan, I think I don't like pop music at all anyway, but trowing that picture of her, without saying anything else, on a thread about an artist realizing a sweet 10 years old girl's dream... Really ? REALLY ? No, for real, really? Get a fucking life.

I agree it may be a publicity stunt, but why do it? I don't see any merits to adding the girl to her show. People are going to listen to her anyways. It's not like she gained more fans by doing what she did.

But on the possibility that the young girl did touch her heart when Lady Gaga had a bad day, well, that's something else. If I had a bad day and someone did something nice and made me feel good, I'd do what I can to make them happy too.

EDIT- just read my post and it sounded a bit straight to the point than usual. I'm just late for a friend's birthday and I thought I'd check here before looking up what subway station to get off in. icon_biggrin.gif

I have my own opinions about her music, mostly good things, but all the interviews of her show her genuine interest in artistic integrity and people at large, caring for everyone no matter who you are which speaks to the universality of her music and music in general. Whether it was a lie or not, she made that girls LIFE and thats what its all about

this is sweet and all but lady gaga could've put on a little more clothes before before putting a little girl on her lap.

imagine if like justin timberlake was in a bathing suit and had a little boy sitting on his lap playing the piano... that would be a little disturbing...

well, unless i was the little boy

Since we're all watching video of children playing simple chord progression and singing along, I'll share my personal favorite.

The band liked the little girl's cover SO much that they put her in the music video and the single art. From there they let her creatively direct.

I won't lie, Lady Gaga is by far my favorite (living) pop artist, I've said many times that I liked what she's doing to the industry right now. But I'm seriously not that much into pop music. This is the song that plays the most on my Ipod and that inspired my nickname... Far from Gaga (except for the costumes, maybe ? icon_rolleyes.gif
