Well I'm not sure if this would be the best place for this topic but you never know.
It's really hard these days to find good work connections. I know that myself since I am in this situation.

I honestly believe that finding a job is the worst and hardest job you could get. So why not do a bit of networking here. If you have a contact you can share, a job posting that you know about that could help, you're more than welcome to share it with those who post their job finding issues on here. We can all help each other out here icon_biggrin.gif

I guess I can start icon_biggrin.gif well I finished my degree in Civil Engineer from Mcgill University in Montreal and I am looking for a job in my domain within Canada. I've been teaching CGEP and high school students since I graduated in February 2010. I always put a lot of effort in what I do and I am very social. You can always message me if you would like to know more off course. This could definitely be a cool way to make friends too and share some job finding secrets icon_biggrin.gif

yep all those online sites are cool..... but it's a lot harder for new Grads to get in without the connection. linkedin is definitely a good site to connect to professionals and contacts.

I see how people could be put in an awkward position sometimes.... I don't think anyone is forcing you to share your contacts here though. I do believe that sometimes it's just cool to help out if you meet someone who you think is nice. It could be in the form of advice.
