What is a huge turn-off for you when it comes to meeting other men?

    EDIT:
Stop whining about the fact that some of us do dislike feminine men. Suck it up. It's a preference.

    My list:

Feminine men. (I am friends with fem. men but I don't usually date fem. men)
    Whining in general.
    Obnoxious throughout the date.

Those are my main three things that will make me do a complete 180 turn..

    What are some of yours?

    ... haha...

I find it hard to believe you are being serious with that comment.

Anyways, if you were serious, what I meant was "what are things that you don't enjoy seeing in other men?"...

    ^ that is better phrased...

OK you´re young and come from an arab culture, so we won´t flame you too much.

The whole "I don´t like fems" thing comes across as very insecure: you sound so shaky in your masculinity that even being near guys who flounce makes you nervous.

They´re on your side. Remember that. The "manly men who can pass as straight" aren´t the ones who have fought for your right to live as an openly gay man. That was the trannies and the flouncers. The ones who passed as straight were all becoming pastors and conservative politicians so that they could undermine your rights.

    So have some respect, kay?

What is this I don't even...
Did you bother to read what I put in the brackets?

How does the "I don't like fems" comes off as insecure?
I don't like the way they talk or dress etc... do I have to be forced to like them?

Your post gives the impression that you took my post in a negative light. While I understand that the gay men who are "feminine" are fighting for every other gay man's right, I am sure there are also masculine men who do that as well.
I am masculine and I am part of the EQUIP club at my university...

Saying, "I hate arab twinks, no offence, it´s just my preference" would not be less offensive just because I put in "no offence"

    Did I say "hate" though?
    No.

Looks like you have literacy problems.

Mohammed, you are being obnoxious - huge turn-off. Act chill man.

This is not being obnoxious. This is my way of separating the men from the boys.

There are two kinds of people in this world.. those that process information in their head and then make a judgement based on that information and those that blindly follow their instincts...

Simply, if a person doesn't do it for you, they just don't do it for you. Sure there are some things I deem off-setting, but if the person is overall awesome, I can look past and eventually find those qualities in them endearing.

It's kind of about learning. icon_razz.gif
