Why You Should Never Defend, Explain or Justify
THE AUTHOR OF THE ABOVE ARTICLE IS FULL OF BULL AND THE COMMENTER WHICH I QUOTE BELOW SUMS IT UP MUCH BETTER THAN I WOULD WISH TO.

"Never defend, justify or explain" is a model followed by tyrants and despots everywhere. Clearly it is at odds with the increased flattening of societies that comes with the ubiquity of the internet, which we can see as we read the daily headlines from the Middle East lately.
"Never defend, justify or explain" is also the model followed by corporate and Wall st robber-barrons, who despise oversight and accountability for their greed driven actions at the public expense. If only we had paid more heed to the few critics and complainers during the run-up to the mortgage meltdown, we wouldn't be in the economic pickle we are in today.
The same thing is true in the Madoff scandal. There were those, like Harry Markopolos, who criticized and complained to the SEC, and were ignored. It was Madoff who successfully hoodwinked regulators and investors both by adopting the "Never defend, justify or explain" model to bluster his way through - as he reveals in his latest jailhouse interview.
Finally, that same model is the tool of religious/spiritual cult leaders everywhere. Go to the well respected rickross.com website, and you can read for yourself how it is used over and over again to entrap naive people and keep them in thrall.
