Don't you hate it when a cute guy is interested in you and you end up walking away?

So on Saturday night I was out and this guy has the confidence to stop me in the street to speak to me by tapping me on the shoulder. He asks me to go hang out with him and his friends at this gay bar, but I end up saying no because it was getting late lol! Er...it was 1am...what was I thinking!? He was really sweet though, we talked for a bit and nothing was awkward at all...but I ended up walking him back to the bar and we said our goodbyes. icon_cry.gif

That's happened twice already now; afterwards I was really kicking myself for that. So, have you ever stupidly said no to someone even though they were really cute? What's your story?

Don't feel bad man, we are all animals and there was a REASON why you said no.
I mean, you were standing there, talking to him, if you wanted to go with him, you would have instantly said, "OK", and walked with him and talked with him and etc....

For some reason, you said "No thanks." and went home.

I mean come on...."come hang with me and my friends...get in our car...drink the drinks we hand you....

Something inside of you said "NO'......for a reason.

Don't worry man, there will be other times and other guys when you know it's cool....

Always trust your gut and your heart...they will NEVER lead you wrong.

My total lack of awareness that someone is coming on to me was a source of great amusement for people around me. (my wife in particular.)

me: "Grant" was a nice guy.
Her: "Um, hon, he had backed you into a corner , had his face 8 inches from yours and was playing with your hair."

    me: "but but he's straight!"

her: "Hon, straight men don't play with a married man's hair."

me: "oh. I thought he was just friendly."

    case 2:

being steered into a stairway by an awkward university student who I thought wanted to talk about something.

I kept waiting for him to say something, then shrugged and went to get a drink.

MUCH later it dawned on me he wanted me to make the first move.
( I thought he was straight and didn't bother.)

Let that be a lesson to you guys in the closet; us guys who are not in the closet treat you like a straight guy; the good guys leave you alone.
