So guys, anyone working in the field of management/strategy consulting?
I'm beginning work in the field next week. I have a very solid idea of what to expect, having done a year of internship with an international CRM consultancy. Curious to see what do you think about this field and what are your experiences working in it.

i'm a former manager at Arthur Andersen/Andersen Consulting/Accenture. left it to go into medicine. don't miss it. it's up or out, dog eat dog, etc. it may suit your personality if you like structure and competition. i would not have stayed even if forces that caused me to leave had not been at work.

Do you think if I get a couple years of experience in management consulting can be a stepping stone for a better more stable job in the future?

Absolutely! It is one of the best environments to learn about the strategic, logistical and financial aspects of business. And companies love to see it on your resume.

Hey guys, with a masters in management, and two years of experience in strategy, organization design and mergers & acquisitions, do you think i have good chances of moving to corporate?

What are the exit options from management consulting? I know the question is too broad, but i would welcome any insight into this topic icon_smile.gif
