Oh poor guy he need some help. What's going on with Charlie? I often watched his TV show "Two and a Half Men". It's the #1 show on CBS. I hope he get help. I think John Stamos should replace him until he get help. Winning!! Tiger Blood?

I myself feel Rob low would be a better replacement.

I also feel the problem is, that he is now off the drugs.

I also feel he has been discriminated, by having his wee children removed, because courts sent children back to mothers with mental health issues, so why has his been taken?

I also feel it sad that parasites are praying on his situation for self gain.

Poor guy? He was making $2 million an episode, and for the most part, his transgressions were more or less overlooked!

He lost his job because he lost sight of the fact that you have to do a monkey dance, at least while you're working for someone else, for your bosses!

People go through a LOT more for a LOT less than Charlie Sheen was getting.

Adios Charlie...say hello to Lindsay Lohan for us!

And Jon Cryer has settled nicely into his job as receptionist for the Ellen show.

Watching his meltdown on national television is probably one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen involving a celebrity. It's so tragic. His family must be completely devastated and feeling hopeless to help him in his downward spiral. I also do not believe for a second that he passed any drug test, or that he is clean and sober. He looks about as cracked out as it gets. This is not going to end well.

His rapid fire decent into the abyss of madness is painful to watch! I feel for his children his daughters especially! It took CBS way to long to fire him.

It would either be Rob Lowe or John Stamos I'm good with either one.

Carlos Estevez should be forced into rehab! Clearly he's a danger to himself.

Now is new target is John Cryer who's next the little. I don't blame John Cryer one bit.

Carlos is screwing with their bottom line! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

They said last night that he is experiencing hypomania, something that can happen when not taking drugs. What bothers me is everyone is just sitting there watching. If he were my son or brother I'd tackle him to the ground and force him to get help. His family could do more for him.

Like Michael Jackson's family faced, it's next to impossible to help someone like that who doesn't first know they have a problem (Charlie apparently doesn't think he has a problem -- he thinks everyone else is the problem), and secondly if they don't want help (Charlie doesn't) it's hard to help them.

Agreed. I think with videos like this (and thank you Jimac, I hadn't seen this before) his family could approach a judge, who would be the one with the authority to legally impose an involuntary intervention. First ordering a psychiatric evaluation, and then deciding to enforce treatments as the certified experts may recommend.

But this whole episode is instructive, though some may see it as simply celebrity obsession. Someone is our own lives may experience this, and what happens to Sheen may be a lesson to others in recognizing and dealing effectively with such things. And if Sheen can get his act back together (both figuratively & literally) that would be helpful & encouraging to those who face these kinds of crises in their own lives.

Because it's easier, more convenient to act and speak w/o compassion than to treat a fellow human being as a fellow human being. We've all been guilty of it from time to time. Myself included, in my personal life.

But about someone I only know through gossip blogs and "entertainment news" shows? That's just low. icon_sad.gif

For those of us behaving in such a manner, let's just remember two things: God don't like ugly (religious) and Karma's a bitch (spiritual).

As someone who (literally) never watches TV except for clips on the intertubes, I find the fact that this would even be exhibited to millions of viewers mind-blowing.

Although the fascination with "freak shows" is part of nearly every culture, it says a lot about society's collective state of mind that we become entranced by watching the manic crack-up of someone who embodies many of our highest values -- wealth, fame, appearance.

This has, arguably, also been the state of our society. A kind of mania to attain these same values has resulted in a depressive crash -- a terrible recession -- that is the inevitable outcome of Sheen's personal state too.

    Wow that is really sad!!!
He's probably been like that for a long time. How come the producers havent said anything? Like if you would show up at work like that, you can get fired, so why can they?
