Ive noticed alot of guys especially on facebook have this as their relationship status. Wtf does that mean exactly?! Either your in a relationship or your not ya know? I dont get it?

Also ive noticed alot of bodybuilders/fitness models have their interest as being men & women, are there really that many bi guys out there or are they just doing that to please both sexs or what?

    I just dont get it.

When I've seen this with friends, it usually means that they are taking a break from their boyfriend or girlfriend but haven't "officially" broken up. That, or they are currently dating someone but would dump em if someone better comes along.

I hate that everyone tries to make things black and white.

As for the "interested in men and women," I've seen some of my gay friends write that as a way to being out without being too obvious.

A lot of times people just like to joke around with the relationship feature. I've seen friends say they were married to each other. I've even seen straight guys indicate that they're married to another straight guy. I thought that was funny.

A long time ago, I put "it's complicated with: myself." icon_lol.gif

I think "it's complicated" usually means they have a partner but it's an open relationship, meaning they screw around on the side, with permission.
A lot of gay male couples have this arrangement, because they love each other but they're horn dogs. icon_biggrin.gif (A lot of STRAIGHT couples have this relationship except the man sneaks around behind the woman's back.)

"Loving each other" without being faithful does not make sense.

They could be on the verge of breaking up... or maybe they've just met someone and started dating, and it's too soon to say they're together or exclusive. Why don't you ask? Pretty much if I see that, I interpret it as a red light and file the person under 'friend' category.

i think it also may have to do with the fact that not everyone is out in all facets of work, family, and friends. So that makes "it complicated" to say your dating some guy and post it all over facebook for people to see.

It can mean, 'our relationship is long distance' even trans-Atlantic, for example. It can mean they're both in the closet and having their relationship hidden. I'm guessing there are lots of reasons. icon_wink.gif
